My husband and I purchased a home that required a lot of updating. Our project included several structural redesigns for both aesthetic and safety reasons. We hired Paul Cataldo as our 203K HUD consultant and got so much more. He assisted us every step of the way: from selecting a contractor, to filing for permits, and most importantly – making structural and design suggestions. He has a seemingly unending supply of patience and works well with many types of personalities.

Several months after we were able to move into our home, I had to relocate my retail business into a new store. Paul visited the store and noticed that the lighting situation was very poor. I explained that finances were extremely limited and that I would not be able to take on that project for quite a while. He mentioned that there was a rebate program available at LIPA that would allow me to refit my store with new lighting. Several days later he called to provide me with the names and contact information of individuals who could help me. He saved me thousands of dollars and enabled me to get the project done much sooner than I thought would be possible. My husband and I are very grateful for all that Paul has done for us.

I’ve known Paul for at least twenty years. We have worked on many projects together. As a HUD consultant for our 203K program he contacts the customers and gives them the advice they need to do all the proper repairs. He ok’s the repairs and makes sure the customer is getting a fair shake from their contractor.
